Worship:
Worship is more than a song or a verse. It is a life that lifts the name and likeness of that which is worshipped. This morning The Champion’s House lifted the name of Yeshua declaring His greatness, His beauty, His holiness, His worthiness to be praised and worshipped. Together we lift His name and declare His Kingdom’s righteousness and establishment. Yeshua – the name above all other names. The King of kings, and Lord of lords. There is none like Him. Yet we, Champions of Christ, do not limit our worship to speech or song alone. We understand that have access to seek God’s face so we may become like Him and carrying His name wherever we go. This means that where we go so goes His glory and likeness.
Worship is the true pleasure and passion of creation – to know and behold Him to become like Him is the true way of peace and life of abundance. Only true worshippers in Spirit and Truth will know the satisfaction that is experienced in the resting presence of Yahweh through Jesus Christ.
Teaching:
Psalm 118:15-19
There are shouts of joy and victory in the tents of the righteous: “The Lord’s right hand performs valiantly! The Lord’s right hand is raised. The Lord’s right hand performs valiantly!” I will not die, but I will live and proclaim what the Lord has done. The Lord disciplined me severely but did not give me over to death. Open the gates of righteousness for me; I will enter through them and give thanks to the Lord.
Champions, we are the workmanship of God. We are guided in His perfect plans by his loving hand, we are supported by His faithful love, and loved in his protective grace. The Lord declares, “They shall be mine,” in Malachi 3:17. So, He gave all of himself, so we may give ourselves to Him. Therefore, we declare with great joy, “I am His, and He is mine.”
Apostle Garth posed a question, “Do you have a revelation that you are righteous?”
He questioned whether the church truly understands the depth of this truth and implored the church to consider understanding the perspective of heaven. He explained that there is a temptation to look at ourselves through our behavior alone – thus, we become conflicted in our sin.
But, when we look through the eyes of Christ, we will realize that He does not see as the world sees. He does not identify us with sin; when we are in Him, He sees His righteousness. When we understand this, we are led into Godly repentance, rejoicing as we walk the path to wholeness.
Pray: Holy Spirit take me someplace that I would be change – transformed by my Father’s loving grace and presence.
Jesus desires to lead us into wholeness, so He invites us to come to Him to seek mercy and grace. When we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us AND cleanse us of ALL our unrighteousness. Like a good parent, when our children mess up, we teach and lead them through it, so they learn from it. Our good Father chooses to discipline His children so that they may be led in the way of righteousness, where abundance of life is given. Our Father chooses to sit us near to Him! Why? So we can hear Him to know Him. Then we can learn from Him as we are taught by Him. This is how we are transformed into His image and likeness – true children of God.
Jesus asks, “Who do you say that I am?” Many have opinions of who they believe Christ is, but we must know him in Spirit and Truth. We should not forget to read and study the book of Revelation that describes Jesus!
Because we are seated at His right Hand, we hear the word of the Lord, and His words are weapons of our warfare. The key to victory is to know what God told you to do, then do it. God sets our boundaries, and He keeps them, so we do not need to worry about backlash.
Romans 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:9-10 is an ongoing process of walking in righteousness. Remember: God is a faithful and just to forgive us and led us into salvation! Truth is Truth. Truth overrides every fact or opinion.
We are in the time of the Altar. Jesus says, “I am coming to my bride.” We cannot be doing church. We must be about the Father’s business, like Jesus.
We need the compassion of Christ, not the love that we can give. We were bought at a price. Our salvation was bought at a price. It was the compassion of Christ that compelled Him to the Cross.
God, through Jesus, has delivered us from death and sin. This includes lack for lack is a fear of death. But God has set our boundaries and has declared that no weapon formed against us would prosper.
Galatians 2:19-20
For through the law, I have died to the law, so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
2 Corinthians 5:14-17
For Christ’s love compels us, since we have reached this conclusion: If One died for all, then all died. And He died for all so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for the One who died for them and was raised. From now on, then, we do not know anyone in a purely human way. Even if we have known Christ in a purely human way, yet now we no longer know Him in this way. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.
When God writes “but” in scripture is as if He is erasing the previous words. (See underlined above) In 2 Corinthians 5:14-17, God has made it possible to “erase” our old creation that lives for itself, and so we can live for Christ. “From now on” is a decision that we make today (not tomorrow or next week). We daily make the decision to live for Christ – Jesus being our source, our life, or everything. It we identify with Jesus, then we have died so we may live the life that Jesus paid for. There is Joy in our salvation!
We should no longer look at others in the flesh, but also, we should not look at ourselves in the flesh, but to see ourselves as God sees us. We are directed to look to Jesus.
